Project Full Circle
"FULL CIRCLE" is a presentation and workshop format that has been developed by Affirm - Initiative C.I.C. for delivery into schools and colleges.
The program is designed to be delivered over a full day , although a shorter ,condensed version is available for half day delivery.
"FULL CIRCLE" can be adapted to cover most age groups.
The content of the program is designed to help steer and prevent children and young people of school age away from the dangers and consequences of becoming involved in gang culture.
"FULL CIRCLE" uses both a proactive and developmental approach to educate young people about the facts concerning gang related and anti social behavior.
The program is split into two separate half day sessions.
"Schooled On Troubled Terraces"
"NEET Xpressions"
The presentations are delivered by ex gang members who use their knowledge and experiences of life within a gang culture to spell out the facts and realities behind the myths of being involved in a gang.
Issues Addressed include:
- Why do young people become involved in gangs?
- What are the real truths and what are the myths concerning gangs?
- What are the real costs and consequences of becoming involved in gangs?
- Positive Choices
- Breaking the cycle
The workshop and presentations use a variety of learning aids and methods of delivery including.....
Power Point , Guest Speakers , Film and Video Footage , Forum Sessions , Interactive activities.
"FULL CIRCLE" gives young impressionable people the information and facts with which to challenge "peer pressure" and helps them to uncover for themselves the facts behind the myths relating to gang membership.
NEET Xpressions is a youth inclusion project currently being developed by Affirm - Initiative Community Interest Company in Stoke-on-Trent.

The programs aim is to identify and work with young people and to provide a constructive means of involving the most disaffected youth who are most at risk of offending or who are already offending.
Mark is also due to begin a series of presentations and talks to young people concerning gang culture.
The presentations are designed to make young people aware of the dangers and consequences of becoming involved in a gang lifestyle. Based on Marks' own experiences and those of others , these talks offer an open and honest account of the realities of life within a gang culture and give vivid accounts of the very real costs of becoming involved.
NEET Xpressions will form part of "FULLCIRCLE" which is a program of workshops and presentations designed for use in schools and colleges.
NEET Xpressions will be the vehicle for the creative side of "FULL CIRCLE" and will include workshops on Creative Writing , Poetry , Song Writing , Rap and D.J. Sessions. These sessions will be aimed at encouraging young people to freely use their interests , personalities and views to express their own anti - gang and anti violence messages through a range of creative media.
NEET Xpressions is available as part of the full day presentation alongside "Schooled On Troubled Terraces" or as a half day workshop on its own.
