Welcome to the official Mark Chester website

Mark Chester was one of the founder members of the notorious "Naughty Forty" firm who followed Stoke City FC during the 80's and 90's. Click here for more about Mark

Mark has intimate hands on knowledge of the gang psyche and understands the intricacies of the gang culture and lifestyle and he is now in a position to comment freely and with some authority on the causes and consequences of becoming involved in it.

He has experienced and bore witness to the very negative effect the hooligan lifestyle can have upon its participants....Broken homes, families and marriages....Loss of dignity and freedom through drug and alcohol abuse and jail sentences and even suicides have all been witnessed or experienced by Mark.

This knowledge and experience has been sought after by University students seeking Marks help towards research and dissertations...and it is this that has prompted the next big step in the life of Mark Chester.

Mark and Affirm - Initiative Community Interest Company are also working on the organisation of a program which includes our main youth inclusion project , Project FREE KICK, that will enable us to co-operate with and work alongside Football Clubs and Training Providers to run Social Inclusion Projects in conjunction Football in the Community Schemes and Localised Community Improvement Schemes aimed at reaching young people who are at risk of social exclusion and involvement in crime.....particularly Gang Culture and Football Hooliganism.

Interest and awareness in P.F.K. has grown massively through the support of Celebrities such as Simon Pegg , Ricky Hatton , Danny Dyer , Thomas Turgoose , Stephen Graham and Jo Hartley. We have recently received a message of support from the set of Coronation Street featuring Craig Kelly and Michael LeVel. We are also very , very grateful for the help and support we have received from Rob Flello M.P. for Stoke-on-Trent South.

Thanks also to Stoke City and Port Vale for their support of P.F.K. and to the media for the positive coverage we have received from them.

This help , support and coverage has raised the profile of the project and has led to us being approached by several schools enquiring about the possibility of us bringing the project into schools for the benefit of pupils. We have responded to this demand by developing a program of presentations and workshops entitled FULL CIRCLE.

More information on these projects can be found by clicking on the logos on your right hand side.

Schools, Students, and Youth Inclusion Agencies wishing to discuss this program and seminars further can contact Mark Chester through this website.
